I recently acquired a Lumix LX7 compact after getting tired of the amount of dirty looks aimed at me for walking around with an SLR; thank you, British press, for turning photography into a dirty, suspicious habit. I decided it’d be nice to have the option of blending in a little more.Anyway, I decided to pocket it during a wander through town today and fire off a few test shots. I’m unused to framing shots with a live viewer so I decided to just go for it and see what happened. Quite happy with the way it performed - the lens is superb, and it handles great in manual and semi modes.
